Gamora is one of the more serious members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Or at least she comes across that way when compared to the likes of Star-Lord, Rocket, or Drax. In many ways, Gamora is the voice of reason on the team, and without her presence, the team could end up in chaos and disarray.
Another reason why Gamora isn't the jokester of the team is her dark past as she was raised by none other than Thanos. However, despite all that, Gamora still had plenty of funny moments in the MCU. And naturally, the fans were quick to notice them and made a lot of hilarious memes about Gamora.
10 Poor Gamora
Poor Gamora. After Star-Lord asks where she is and Tony Stark asks who she is, Drax asks why she is. But rarely does anybody bothers to ask how exactly is Gamora doing.
And that's not at all a silly question considering Gamora lost her entire family and one of the evilest beings in the entire universe adopted her. Gamora could have a lot to complain about if only someone gave her the opportunity to do so.
9 If The MCU Was A School...
What if the MCU was a school and the superheroes were teachers? This meme shows how such a scenario might look. Peter Quill works as a geography teacher who asks about the subject's (Gamora's) whereabouts. Tony Stark functions as a history teacher and he wants to know who Gamora is.
And finally, Drax, what with his leisurely attitude, teaches philosophy and wonders why exactly is Gamora. Why indeed?
8 The Worst Father-In-Law
Dating someone and meeting their parents for the first time is challenging even under the best of circumstances. Let alone when it turns out that the father of one's girlfriend is a Mad Titan who likes to crush his enemies and kills the populaces of entire planets.
Peter thought he was ready for everything but once he realized who Gamora's dad was, he realized he was in deep trouble.
7 An Angry Dad
Speaking of complicated family relationships, even though Thanos is a supervillain, he might still be protective of his favorite daughter. And that means he might just rip Peter's heart out of his body if he learns that Peter is dating Gamora and he doesn't like the fact.
Drax uses this knowledge to his advantage to ensure he won't be the first person Thanos will try to kill. Needless to say, Peter is less than excited about the turn of events.
6 Flirting With Gamora Is Deadly
This meme shows that Loki might like Gamora if he met her. Unfortunately for Loki, Thor would be quick to troll him and suggest that Gamora was, in fact, Hulk's sister.
Considering the beating Hulk gave Loki in The Avengers (2012), the God of Mischief would probably disappear before one could say, "Hulk smash!"
5 Peter Should Hide
This meme uses the simple but effective fact that both Spider-Man and Star-Lord have the same first name: Peter. If Gamora was angry at Peter Quill and wanted to threaten him, she might end up accidentally threatening the poor young Spider-Man who has no idea why is Gamora after him.
It's hard to say why or how exactly would Gamora make this mistake but it's still a fun scenario to imagine.
4 Oops
Gamora's death at the hands of Thanos on Vormir came as a surprise and shock to many people - most of all Gamora herself. She thought Thanos had no emotions so when he was asked to sacrifice what he valued the most, Gamora laughed at him.
Had she realized immediately what was happening, her reaction might have been similar to this meme.
3 They Grow Up So Fast
A lot of caring fathers take it hard when their daughters grow up and start dating people. This meme hints at the fact that despite his killing tendencies, Thanos was no different.
It's hard to imagine Gamora, Peter, and Thanos having peaceful lunches together and Peter and Thanos watching football side by side. It's more likely that Thanos would disapprove of the relationship in the long run and Gamora wouldn't care about his opinion.
2 Gamora Has A Heart
With her reputation as the most dangerous woman in the galaxy, it would be understandable to think Gamora doesn't really care about other people that much. But as the second Guardians of the Galaxy film showed, Gamora is a great adoptive mom to baby Groot.
She treats baby Groot with the kind of affection and kindness that makes these scenes between the two of them worth remembering.
1 The Most Perfect Gamora
Multiple versions of Gamora appeared in the MCU. There's the young Gamora whom Thanos saved from annihilation and brought to his home to raise as his daughter, as well as the Gamora from 2014 who ended up in the future and had no connection to the Guardians.
Finally, there is the original Gamora who joined the team. Magneto is strongly convinced the third Gamora is the most perfect one and considering how she developed as a person and a hero, it's hard to argue with Magneto on this one.
