Jackass Forever shared a jaw-dropping image of Johnny Knoxville getting knocked out by a bull ahead of the film's release. Knoxville has been stunning viewers with mind-blowing stunts for over twenty years now. He co-created and starred in the reality show Jackass on MTV from 2000-2002. Despite only having three seasons, the controversial comedy series developed a dedicated fanbase. The franchise now exists in film form through Paramount Pictures.
Knoxville and his Jackass cohorts were last seen blowing up the big screen with Jackass 3D in 2010. While the movie was a massive success, it appeared to be the final chapter for the crew, who had been pushing their luck with dangerous stunts. Eight years later, Knoxville delighted fans by saying he had an idea for another installment. Jackass 4 is now officially slated to release on October 22, 2021.

Jackass 4 teased fans with the latest round of threatening stunts by sharing new images from the Paramount Pictures film. One of the most eye-catching snaps shows Knoxville being knocked into the air by a raging bull as crew members look on with astonished delight. According to the official Jackass Instagram, Knoxville suffered "a concussion, a broken wrist, and a broken rib." See the photo and more first looks from the highly-anticipated documentary below:

Based on these new photos, Knoxville isn't the only cast member in the hot seat. Brave participants will attempt stunts featuring: a human cannonball, a close encounter with a snake, and some painful-looking contraption. In addition to a smattering of new faces, Knoxville is joined by his ride or die gang Steve-O, Jason "Wee Man" Acuna, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, Preston Lacy, and director Jeff Tremaine.
It seems another returning entity to Jackass 4 is the fighting bull. Knoxville and friends have tangoed with the dangerous animal many times throughout the franchise. One of the most memorable was "The Toro Totter" in Jackass Number Two with Knoxville, Pontius, Bam Margera, and the late Ryan Dunn. The foursome sat on a custom seesaw quad in the center of a rodeo ring as a raging bull attempted to knock them down. The result was a wince-inducing clip that went down in Jackass history. While Knoxville latest the longest then, clearly, he didn't get his bull fix.
Seeing Knoxville upside down in a state of peril isn't an unusual position for the performer but certainly a welcome sight for fans. Jackass Forever is set as the highest-stakes installment yet, with the cast members older but not wiser. If the new photos tease anything, it's that viewers can expect to get the usual hair-raising antics one last time.
